Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Purely Labels is operated by Seth Workman, an individual doing business as Purely Labels ("Purely Labels," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate purelylabels.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. For terms governing use of the Service, see our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: email address used for one-time password (OTP) authentication and account identity
  • Project and label data: nutrition/supplement label content, layouts, styles, templates, project names, and related design data you create or save
  • Payment information: billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data as a PCI-compliant payment processor
  • Support communications: messages and contact details you send us (for example via purelylabelssupport@gmail.com)

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP, and request logs needed to operate and secure the Service
  • Usage data: pages viewed, feature usage (such as login, project save/load, template use, and export attempts), and export counts used to enforce plan limits
  • Local storage: data stored in your browser (for example localStorage or sessionStorage) for session state, draft/project recovery, UI preferences, and navigation history

1.3 Analytics

We use Umami (cloud.umami.is), a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the Service is used. Umami may collect page views and custom events (for example label creation, export attempts, login, and project activity). We configure analytics to help improve the product; it is not used to sell your personal information to advertisers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the label design Service
  • Authenticate accounts (OTP), maintain sessions, and protect against abuse
  • Store and sync your projects and related label data
  • Process subscriptions and payments, manage billing, and enforce export limits by plan
  • Send service-related messages (authentication codes, billing notices, security alerts, and support responses)
  • Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not use your content to train third-party advertising models, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for marketing. We share information only as needed to run the Service or as required by law:

  • Supabase: authentication and storage of account and project data
  • Stripe: payment processing, subscriptions, and customer billing portal
  • Umami: product analytics (page views and selected events)
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: to host and deliver the Service (for example cloud hosting used to run our application)
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Purely Labels, Seth Workman, our users, or others
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality measures

Our processors may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in and secure authentication/session state
  • Remember preferences and improve site performance
  • Store draft or navigation-related data in your browser
  • Measure usage via analytics (Umami)

Essential storage is required for core features such as login and project workflows. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; doing so may limit functionality (for example, you may need to sign in again or lose local drafts).

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, authenticated API access, and reliance on reputable infrastructure and payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes:

  • Account and project data: while your account is active and as needed to restore your work
  • Billing and usage records: as required for accounting, fraud prevention, plan enforcement, and legal compliance
  • Support emails: as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and maintain records

When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal account and project data within 30 days, except where we must retain information for legal, tax, dispute, or security reasons. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before automatic deletion.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Export or receive a copy of certain data you provided
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Opt out of marketing emails (service and billing messages may still be sent when necessary)

To exercise these rights, email purelylabelssupport@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity (for example, via your account email) before fulfilling a request. You may also update some information by using the Service while signed in, and manage payment methods through the Stripe billing portal.

California residents: We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You may request access, deletion, or information about our sharing practices as described above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

EEA/UK users: Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), based on our legitimate interests (security, product improvement, analytics), and/or to comply with legal obligations. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. International Transfers

Purely Labels is operated by Seth Workman from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your country. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States as described in this policy.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it. Paid accounts are intended for users 18 or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction), as described in our Terms of Service.

10. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals. Our Service does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can limit tracking by blocking analytics scripts or clearing site data in your browser.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example by email or in-product notice) when reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
